AAF library and documentation

The AAF library is a programmer's library which adds AAF support to astrological software. (See the AAF format specification for the most important details.)

The AAF library has been written under Linux using pure Ansi C and is available including the source code and as a Windows 16 and 32-bit runtime DLL. Using the library from within you code is very easy, even on other platforms than Windows. To support the universal AAF exchange format in your Software is not a big deal, if you follow these steps:
- get a license (costs one time per program DM 300.- and two free copys of your software for us, for testing your AAF-support)
- copy the AAF 32-bit DLL in your applications directory (if you work with Windows)
- write a interface, which calls the functions in the AAF-DLL, (you can ask Martin Garms about an Delphi2 interface-unit, wich exists already)
- and connect your programms data fields to the reading functions of the DLL
- if your AAF-import (and/or export) works, please send us a copy of your software and tell us, wich AAF-Functions your program is supporting.

The AAF library distribution includes additional with source code in languages like C, Delphi and GFA-BASIC.
